The Demon Realm is inhabited by a wide array of beings, most commonly pointy-eared humanoids with skin tones ranging from dark blue and red to purple or yellow. But while there is a majority—imps, minotaurs, insectoids, dragons, and countless other beasts also roam its lands. If it looks like a critter out of Dragon Quest, there’s a good chance it exists somewhere in the Demon Realm.
Altogether, Demon Realm Denizens can be considered a "monster race"—wildly diverse in form and ability. However, the harsh truth is that many lack the potential to ascend to higher tiers of power.
Demonic society is shaped by geography, divided across three layers of the realm:
Third World Demons often live as bandits, wanderers, or struggling peasants - surviving by scavenging or theft.
Second-World Demons are typically reclusive hermits, avoiding the roaming Krakens and other dangers.
First World Demons are the elite—powerful, cunning, and cruel. Many are born into nobility, while others have schemed or fought their way to the top.
Strengths
+All demons seem to have an affinity for Ki and Magic, whether they are aware or not.
+Demons who do happen to become powerful are often genuinely difficult to take down because of how well they can use both energy types.
+ Often have an elemental affinity for their magic, allowing them to Advanced spells sooner than most other magic users
Weaknesses
-Extremely low defense against attacks that use the Power of Light or God energy. Takes damage as if the attack was +2 ranks higher.
- Growth rate varies, but most demons don't become powerful quickly.
- Most demons often only focus on surviving another day over active training. Many do not have growth opportunities unless they are in a privileged position in demonic society.
- That is not to say there aren't ones that manage to climb up ranks: Glorio and King Kadan
- Dark Glinds in particular will need to utilize a mix of training and absorbing large amounts of Dark Energy.

True Form
A malicious transformation is undergone by a demonic magi who has completely surrendered their body to the malice of Darkness for the sole purpose of fulfilling a selfish, corrupted ambition.
It mutates a demon into a monster that comes with all the perks: bestial senses, enhancement in all physical abilities, and a deeper connection to the powers of Darkness. However, this horrendous transformation may actually just kill the user—if not disfigure them or leave them with a long-term lethargy and permanent scarring.
Grants the equivalent of a Grade 3 transformation on an untransformed base form. Cannot be trained.
Grants either a Demon God or Demon God Evolved a +2 to their current form while in that form.
Can only be used once during a battle. After a battle, a demon returns to their lowest Base mode.
Cannot be trained to go higher.
Cannot be stacked with Kaio-Ken.
Dark Factor Empowerment
Dark Factor—an extremely rare and primordial form of Darkness known to have been utilized by the one and only ferocious Dark King, Mechikaboola. This power can only be granted by a Dark King or by a demon with particular connections to a Dark King.
Equivalent to Grade 3 with an extra +1 rank boost on an untransformed Base form.
Cannot be trained.If applied to a Demon God or Demon God Evolved, it serves as a +3 to their current tier while in that form.
Does not stack with darkness mode because it swallows the form.
Grade 1
Darkness Mode
A transformation is awakened when a dark being’s ambitions are catalyzed by a sudden surge of negative emotion, like unbridled hate or rage, and after absorbing a large amount of ‘Evil Ki,’ ‘Power of Darkness,’ or Time Rift energy. It alters a demon’s appearance, with these changes ranging from their overall color scheme shifting to be more ‘gloomy’ or ‘aggressive,’ black and red sigils molded to their bodies, fangs and claws, and sometimes all of the above.
Cannot be stacked with Kaio-Ken.
Base Requirements: A Tier.
Grade 3
Demon God
The Demon God, also revered as the Demon Goddess in a feminine form, represents an elevated tier of existence that Demons can attain. This great transformation is achieved through the accumulation of a substantial amount of Kili or by receiving the bestowed power from a Dark King. In this exalted state, they harness formidable abilities that set them apart in the realms of darkness and power, embodying the essence of their mystical heritage.
Cannot stack with Kaio-ken.
Base Requirements: S+ tier
Extreme
Demon God Evolved
An elevated manifestation of the Demon God state, harnessing unparalleled power and magical power beyond the standard Demon God. Always a low Extreme.
Cannot stack with Kaio-ken.
Base Requirements: LTier.
Sparking
Supreme Dark King
Even rarer than the Dark Factor itself, is a worthy demon capable of utilizing it. This transformation marks the awakening of the ultimate, strongest evil of all time. It can only be achieved under extremely specific conditions. Oftentimes, there is only one Dark King in existence.
Dark Factor elevates a demon's power to levels beyond that of a God—from corruption on a mass scale, terraforming worlds to their image, and launching unstoppable waves of Darkness energy; those who become Dark Kings leave a mark in the universe.
Dark Factor Enhancement Required
Always a Max Sparking.
Base requirement: BL Tier.
