GLINDS
The Glinds are an ancient race with much of their true history unknown. All that is known is that they are entwined with the very essence of ancient trees that flourish in the second level of the Demon Realm.
Chosen by the exalted Super Majin Rymus, they abandoned their dying homeland and found their lives beginning anew on a new Glind planet - often referred to as The Heavenly Realm. The Glinds were entrusted with the duty of safeguarding the universe's Mortal Level, collaborating with their God of Destruction, and ensuring the safety and peace for their worlds.
The race was once teetering on the brink of extinction, a wish granted by the Super Dragon Balls breathed life back into their sacred trees, heralding the birth of a new generation. These young Glinds are scholars of peace, embodying values of life, harmony, and balance.
With an innate connection to Light magic, they possess an acute sensitivity to all forms of Godly Ki, rendering them guardians of the cosmos and stewards of tranquility.
Note: This is not official canon. This is just to allow players who want to explore a Glind character in "contemporary" settings.
DARK GLINDS
Some Glinds, lured by the seductive whispers of ambition, veer from their serene teachings and find themselves enticingly drawn back to the Demon Realm. In their descent into darkness, these Dark Glinds sever their cherished bond with Light magic, resulting in a corruption that imbues them with abilities some may consider... unnatural. This transformation serves as a stark reminder of the everlasting battle between good and evil.
Dark Glinds use the ‘Demon Realm Denizens’ path for their transformation and some of their strengths and weaknesses. Dark Glinds are still capable of sensing Godly Ki.
Strengths
+Surprisingly rounded in their strengths —many of them are capable warriors with a good mix of Ki and Magic.
+Attacks are especially potent against Demonic enemies, dealing what will feel like +2 ranks of damage higher against them.
+ Naturally capable of sensing Godly Ki.
Weaknesses
- Also take a high amount of damage from Darkness techniques. They take an extra +1 rank of damage from Dark Magic or Dark Energy techniques.
- Their light magic weakens significantly if they become corrupt, until eventually shifting into Dark Glind.
- Low threshold on stamina. Will slip out of their transformations if exhausted and may struggle to finish casting a spell.
- Glinds have the slowest growth rate by themselves and often need a mix of rituals and collaborative efforts from other Glinds to reach a “mortal” pace in their training. Otherwise, it can take hundreds of years for a Glind to become truly powerful.

This awakening manifests not only in the refinement of their physical form but also in a shiny new wardrobe, symbolizing the radiant energy that now courses through them!
This upgrade provides a permanent +2 boost the first two times they advance through a single letter tier—or it can be saved for a sudden, potential release of a one-time +4 boost to base.

Behold a magnificent evolution that unfolds as a celestial halo, reminiscient of wings!
This profound metamorphosis elevates a Glind's existence, refining both their appearance and power to embody the very essence of divinity. In this state, they radiate a true aura of God Ki and can often only be matched by those who have Godly Ki.
Can be empowered to SPARKING at Z Tier.
